No Cowbell in DM1 with BSP
« on: January 17, 2019, 07:27:56 am »
I'm using my BSP to control the Fingerlab DM1 Drum Machine in an iPad 4. Everything seems to be working correctly except that I can only trigger 8 of the 9 drum pads in the app for any given kit or instrument. The missing pad always corresponds to the Cowbell, which is in the upper left hand corner of the pad grid. I can trigger the Cowbell manually via the iPad screen, but not through the BSP. I hate to say it, but I gotta have more Cowbell.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Have you looked at what MIDI note numbers the instruments in DM1 are set to and if your drum map matches them?  Use MCC to check which notes are assigned to your drum map and to change which notes are assigned.
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )
