Beatstep Pro Polyphonic Woes
« on: December 11, 2018, 06:16:19 am »
As most of you probably know the beatstep Pro  can't sequence polyphonically. I love it as a device, but this is really irritating me. I started looking at sequencers that allow Poly, but they all seem to miss either song modes or run at €600+.

Are there any solutions other than using the drum track for a synth? Can I chain it with another device and "move" that with me, such as a keystep, op1, or even second beatstep? Any chance they'll release a new firmware or device that covers this ground? Should I just make the switch to something like the squarp (open to cheaper / any suggestions here) ?

What's with the very dodgy looking links in your post?
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )
