Keylab 49, Midi channels and ableton
« on: October 19, 2018, 04:25:10 pm »
I'm having a few issues with my new keylab. Or maybe it can't do what I think it should be able to do..... I'd like to use it to control analog lab and also various other vsts or inbuilt ableton instruments. Can I do this by assigning each instrument to a different midi channel using the button on the keylab? Or is it something to do with the user maps? When I change the midi channel on the keylab, it comes up as being on a different channel on the keyboards display but still transmits midi on channel 1 in ableton. This is also annoying as I have other keyboards which I want to use for separate channels that the keylab seems intent on conflicting with. If anyone knows any good tutorials for ableton and multiple hardware controllers, they'd be much appreciated too. Thanks  :)

I would love to know how do this proper too. I love the integration with Analog Lab - but how do I set something similar (in a smaller scale perhaps) up with Omnisphere or Ableton Wavetables? So I don't have to map everything from zero again and again..

If someone knows of any ressource her please help out! Would be so much appreciated!!
