MIDI in to CV/Gate outputs
« on: June 16, 2020, 12:31:38 pm »
Nick from SonicLAB was told by Arturia that they would "fix in firmware" the Mk 2's inability to route incoming MIDI to the CV/Gate outputs. https://youtu.be/zzKVDGNLWk4?t=466

Was that a lie? Is it a hardware limitation? Other boxes have been doing this for decades. I know that it's all about choosing what data gets outputed (polyphonic input vs monophonic output, pitch bend difficult etc). But that seems to be a set of software choices.

If anyone at Arturia is reading can you please be honest about this. If it's not ever going to happen, let us know and I'll find a different solution.

Thanks

Update: According to Jules from Arturia support thi shas already been implemented. I can't find out how it works - anyone else? Here's what (s)he said:
Indeed it was a feature to implement, and this has been done more than one year ago:
(see attached screenshot)

So you can now control your hardware from you DAW through our KeyLab MKII product range.
