Pads 9-16
« on: June 16, 2018, 05:44:01 pm »
Hi everyone,

I was wondering... I've got my new Minilab mkII and it seems to me that 9-16 are not defined. How can I make it work?!
Even inside MIDI Control Center, when the MIDI log is enabled, it says undefined when pressing any of the pads 9-16.
I've also noticed it's a old subject in the forum... so, Arturia... any clue for that? (specially for newbies like me).

Cheers,
Pablo :)

Same problem to me.
Did firmware upgrade and factory reset, no changes.
Pads 9-16 sends wrong MIDI events (see screenshot in attachment)

Tthis is "Black edition" version.

Hi again,

Thank you for the provided information.

As an information, by default the Analog Lab memory device will send CC messages from the PADS from 9 to 18 and not Midi Notes.

In order for them to also send Midi notes, you'll have to use one of the User device memories.

Make sure to first copy and paste the "Default" Factory template through the Midi Control Center to one of your User device memories (From Memory N°2 to N°7) as showed here :

Once done, make sure to recall the corresponding device memory with SHIFT + PAD N°X (Where X corresponds to the device memory on which you stored the template).

From there it should work fine.

Keep me informed if this solves your issue !

Best regards,

Guillaume - Arturia Support
