Accent Level?
« on: September 26, 2018, 02:09:24 am »
I just got my DB today, and am wondering if here some way I'm not seeing to adjust the volume of the accented steps relative to the normal ones? My understanding is that the MIDI setting for threshold is just for the pads themselves to reduce or increase the velocity at which they decide a hit is accented, but I'm looking for the traditional accent volume "knob", like my old CR78 has. Is this something that can fixed with a firmware patch? It's an odd omission on such an otherwise through implementation. The randomness feature is nice, but really needs a way to reduce the changing dynamics, and this is one very good way.

Hi IAmTheFly,
The volume knob is shared between accent and normal trigger. It cannot be decorrelated, even with firmware.
You are right for the setting in the MCC.
