Pitch Wheel Accuracy
« on: May 29, 2018, 06:33:26 pm »
Apparently the original DX7 had only 7 bit resolution on the pitch wheel, and this authentic limitation carried over to the V collection. It would be nice (in my case it's a requirement for using the DX7) to have the option of full midi pitch bend message resolution. For what it's worth the Modular and I think CS80 are full scale.

While we're at it, some synths are limited to 12 semitones, some go up to 24 and some beyond, in pitch wheel range. This is another case where it would be nice to have the option to break out of the 100% authentic replication and have higher range. 24 semitones is sufficient in my case.

thanks!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. I don't know what will be done but I've transmitted your request to the product management team.

Regards,

Matthieu
