Keylab Essential with reason mapping
« on: May 18, 2018, 12:21:04 pm »
Hi Guys, just got an Essential 61 and the only complain is that the transform buttons are a bit mixed up (the metro key turns the loop on/off) Any way to configure the DAW buttons?
A tried in the Midi application but no luck.

Hi,
I was in the same situation.
Until now I configured my own basic Remotescript (Codec) and Mappings for Reason 10.x which works together with a custom "Controller Map".
It is still neither finished nor polished, but would be a good starting point.
If you still struggle, let me know.

And I'm trying to build my own.. but I'm lost... starting with point 1... how to make something recognized

Hi,

I made a remote mapping file for the Keylab Essential 61 (in Mackie mode).

I added for the 4 DAW command buttons:
"punch" = Return To Zero
"metro" = metronome
"Undo" = undo
"Save" = redo

loop, rewind, forward, stop,play, and record buttons as usual.

Andreas :)
