Sustain pedal port
« on: May 14, 2018, 11:29:23 pm »
Anyone know what is required to provide a signal to the SUSTAIN PEDAL port?  I would prefer to build my own instead of shelling out money for a simple pedal.
Is it a simple ON/OFF switch or are there electronics involved?
In the manual it states that the keyboard would learn the POLARITY of the pedal.  This would imply that a voltage is supplied to the port, probably a +5v or Ground?
I'd hate to have to open the thing to figure it out on my own.
