One of my Keys is making a high pitched noise
« on: May 05, 2018, 10:52:16 am »
When i hit D4# it makes a high pitched note or noise along with the normal note.  It's an unpleasant highpitched chord it seems.  It doesn't seem like the key itself is broken because when i transpose it up or down an octave, the same key sounds fine but when i hit the same note D4#(shifted over) it makes the same annoying high pitched sound along with the normal note. It only makes this sound using a Piano instrument. I tried it separately on UVI Workstation Piano D, Ableton Live 9 using a grand piano instrument, and Analog Lab all of the piano instruments do it.  It sounds the same on all of them.  I just got this thing a month ago.  Anyone know if there's a fix to this or should i just return it??

(Keylab 61 Essential)

Update: it appears to be happening on both D4 and D4#.  :/
