Minibrute 2S ModWheel controlling Filter Cutoff
« on: April 25, 2018, 07:53:29 pm »
Is there a way to route ModWheel to the Filter Cutoff? Or am I missing something?

The Key version is routed by default to the Cutoff, but the S version seems to lack this...?

Busting my brain over this.. can't figure out how to route the mod to the cutoff, please advice.

Thanks!

Stephan

The Minibrute 2s has no mod wheel but by default has aftertouch set to filter cutoff; can you map the modwheel to aftertouch?

Not sure what the CC will be - perhaps 2 or 4. I'm sure the answer will reside in sending Midi messages to Mod1 and/or Mod2 but I haven't found how to do this.

Page 148 of the manual indicates that one can change the Modwheel CC from 1 to anything else. If your DAW is using something other than CC#1 or if your MTC shows the modwheel CC set to something other than CC#1 then perhaps this is the issue. This is presuming that the Minibrute 2s should be interpreting modwheel CCs to one of the mod CV outputs.
