Decoupling CV from Gate - constant CV

if at all possible, it would be very useful for modular/semi-modular users if the Pitch CV was not tied to the Gate so that different voices can share pitches but have different rhythms.

Hmmm... Yeah, I suppose I could program legato pitch sequences and use drum gates to open VCAs to do what I have in mind.
