Copy pattern from one sequencer to the other?
« on: April 17, 2018, 09:35:51 am »
Hi there.
Is it possible to copy pattern from seq1 to seq2 (or the other way around)? This while being in the same project - but would it be eventually possible also across projects?

Thanks,
Flavio.

In the manual there's a section about copying sequences:

7.3 Copy between SEQ1 and SEQ2
There may be times when you would like to have both sequencers playing the same
thing, perhaps an octave apart or with slight alterations, etc. The following procedure
will allow you to copy sequence data between Sequencer 1 and Sequencer 2.
Let’s say you’d like to copy sequence #7 from SEQ2 to sequence location #15 in SEQ1:
• Select SEQ2
• Select sequence #7
• Hold the SAVE button
• Hold the SEQUENCER 1 button
• Press Step button

Hi there !

Yeah this way works fine for moving sequence into a project, but what about from one project to another ? like copying sequence 4 from project 3 to project 12 ?

Thank you for your time !

Sooo "megamarkd" answered me from another thread but Im putting the tricks here too

Say you want to copy Seq 1 from Project 16 to Seq 2 in Project 7

> open Project 7 in the editor
> then in the Project browser (on the left) drag Seq 1 from Project 16 to the Seq 2 tab (up right) in the Seq editor
> save.

This does a straight up copy and replace
