MCC crashing
« on: April 06, 2018, 11:00:36 pm »
On Mac mini with OS 10.10 MatrixBrute with latest firmware.
MCC connects well sees my MB bank fine. However, when I try to save my patches to a new project I get crashes almost every time. I can drag and drop one or two, but on the next one, it crashes. Any thoughts?

Changing MIDI settings (local OFF or different MIDI channels for input and output) can solve the problem...but still default settings for an application or a synth should not make it crash!

Hi,

Sorry to hear about this, during development I have stress tested this a lot and we fixed all these kind of crashes. I just had a try at dragging and dropping presets and entire banks like a maniac and everything seemed stable (OSX 10.12.6)

Can you give me more details about your setup ? (EG how the MatrixBrute is plugged, with a USB hub or not)

Here are a few basic troubleshooting steps to try out to help you pinpoint the issue :

-Make sure your MCC is up to date  ( 1.7.1.554 )
-Try another USB Cable
-Try another USB Port
-Try removing other USB devices from your computer

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply!.
MB is hooked up through a USB hub (D-link). I should try to plug it directly in the mac mini indeed.
