How to set MIDI Channel in stand-alone Spark VDM
« on: March 30, 2018, 12:49:41 am »
Hi

I'm just trying to do some jamming with my new BeatStep pro and I'm using Spark VDM on MacOS for the drums, and the V Collection for the melodic tracks.  I'm not using a DAW, I'm using the standalone instance of Spark VDM.

All sounds great, but Spark VDM seems to be set to Omni Channel MIDI.  Can I set the Spark VDM software to just respond to Channel 10?  Feels like this should be obvious so sorry I'm missing something here.  Can't see anything in the preferences.

Thanks & regards

Any way of limiting the Spark to listening to a single channel??

This really is a good question.  Anyone have an idea, if there is a way of filtering Spark MIDI by channel instead of OMNI / All MIDI channels?  It seems like such a basic thing. . . .
