First encoder knob loose, automation is "jumpy"
« on: March 23, 2018, 06:58:45 am »
I have a Keylab 49, and recently noticed that the first automation encoder knob was jumping around in Analog Lab. After pulling off the knob, I noticed a looseness when wiggling the knob that isn't present on the other knobs. Is there any recommended way to fix or remedy this problem? Thanks!

Is the knob jumpy when you are turning it very slowly or does it behave like this in every situation ?

Thank you for the referral!
It seems jumpy no matter what speed I turn the knob at, but if I apply some directional pressure while turning it, it seems to be a little smoother which makes me think that there is something wrong with the small metal rod underneath the knob, or possibly the  connection to the keyboard from the knob. Thanks again!
