Keylab 88 and Keyscape - velocity settings
« on: February 20, 2018, 04:26:00 pm »
Hi there,

Im a new owner of the Keylab 88, after I started using Keyscape as my sounds for gigging.
I like the Keylab 88, but Im struggling a bit with finding the optimal settings for velocities with Keyscape.

At first the Key Velocity Curve (in MIDI Control Center) was set to Logarithmic #2, and when I used Keyscape with their preset for the Keylab 88 Ive found the sound to punchy.
So I tried the Keyscape setting for RD800 which I think sounds/feels better.. I can see the difference when changing the settings - both in Keyscape and in MIDI Control Center are huge, so I was hoping that some of you already had found a good setting and wanted to share it :-)

Have a nice day everyone,
Theo - danish salsa and jazz pianist.

No one who have some knowledge to share?
What about the ones working for Arturia? :-)
