AUDIOFUSE XLR Amphenol connectors issue
« on: May 10, 2019, 06:28:30 pm »
Question to AUDIOFUSE tech people.
My microphones are all phantom powered.  With minor movement at XLR plug, I get a pop (disconnect/reconnect) microphone. Bad connection in FEMALE XLR receptacle in AUDIOFUSE. Both channels!!  I do not believe it is defective. Seems like Amphenol (mfg of AUDIOFUSE plug receptacles) is not to the standard. I have tried 5 (FIVE!) different cables from different manufacturers, all have same issue. So issue is almost certain with Amphenol. My question is:  what exact name of cable plug was used to test this in Arturia?

Question for users. Can somebody please tell me what cable brand/model you use for mics with phantom power that does not have movement-->disconnect problem.

Thank you in advance!
