buffer size
« on: February 12, 2018, 02:05:47 am »
Hi,I'm trying to set the buffer size on the AFCC to 512 samples, the same as my DAW....I change it to 512 in the AFCC preferences but the  buffer size keeps switching back to 1024 or 2048...The sample rate is 48000.Anyone have any Ideas as to why this would be happening?
I'm using Harrison Mixbus 32c V.4. Windows 10.
BTW I'm really enjoying the Audiofuse.

Hi Jimmylee, and welcome on this board.
In AFCC preferences panel , in ASIO Settings part , you can choose SAFE or UNSAFE . How does it go when you are choosing UNSAFE? Do you manage to synchronize AudioFuse and mixbus buffer sizes?

Can you please tell us more about your windows computer's specifications?

Thanks in advance,
best,

HI thanks for the quick reply...the same thing happens in unsafe mode...all my drivers and firmware are up to date.
Ive attached screen shots of computer info and  asio settings...hope it helps..

Ive just started using the ASIO 4 ALL driver and its working great...no latency at all with a reverb plugin on vox track.Problem solved!!
Cheers.

Audiofuse  driver is now behaving itself, getting buffer size down to where I  want it...maybe just needed a shake up from asio4all.
