Hello,

I am trying to record arpeggiated notes from my Keystep into the BSP step sequencers.  I have the Keystep synced to the BSP via the sync out to keep the arp in time, and I have midi out from the Keystep running into the BSP.  Unfortunately the recorded sequences end up with loads of rapid or doubled notes being played.  I suspect the problem is due to a delay between master sync on the beatstep then the notes via the midi, to individual steps on the sequencers, but can anyone confirm?  Is there another configuration that would work that someone could recommend?

Thanks!
Tom

Hi timpecter,
You need to match the sync type between the two devices (24ppq, 48ppq, etc).
I suggest you to use 48ppq on both (more accurate).
You can also use MIDI cables to sync them.

Regards,
Y.
