some presets have 'bad' parameters

preliminary note:
I don't have an Arturia keyboard but Push and a Novation MkII, so maybe this doesn't affect you.

In Ableton Live, when I'm using a VST I first 'group' it to have Macro control for 8 parameters.

Before I can use the Macro controls I have to assign parameters to it - for the CS80 for example I'm using xFade Osc1<>Osc2, Lp1Cf, Lp1Q, Lp2Cf, Lp2Q, Brilliance, and Resonance.

Of course this has to be done just once per VST, and it should work for ALL presets of that particular VST.

The CS80 is of different breed, because every once in a while there's a preset which doesn't react on parameter changes.
Example: Strings/ Alum; I can't remote control it at all.

As i see it, then there is something wrong with CS-80s automation/ remote CC control and it's config.

In generel i think CS-80 need a loving hand. It's not working optimal.

ah, thanks, I've not seen this post.
anyway, the CS-80 is a nice Vst instrument.

but, just for the record, I'm showing you with pics what my problem is.
Macro1 is controlling Hpf cf.



With preset Ion Storm it's working (pic1+2), with preset Sweep Vca not (pic3).
it's not like the other poster about  MidiCC  but with that 'direct' connection Controller (Push/Novation)<>DAW/Vst via Usb.

If you read the first 2 posts in the other thread i gave the link for and notice the issues that's not about CC, and that i can confirm, then i think it's in the same area as the issue you show if not the same.
In the my first post (the second post in that thread) i have provided a test. You don't find that similar to your issue?

However - The main point is, there is something wrong with CS-80. You can't count things like this and about the config work. Only Arturia can fix this.
