old firmware files?
« on: January 27, 2018, 10:09:52 pm »
yeah so my BSP is legit off by micro seconds. Doesn't matter if I set BSP to master or sync, int, ext, ableton, bsp > pams( yeah they "stay it time" but..) its off by micro seconds and its super annoying especially because I have audiophile ocd, when I record i can visually see events milliseconds out of sync, waveforms that were generated via gate outs on the bsp, wondering if going back to 2.0.0 or 1.4 will fix.
can't find downloads anywhere. please I need these or other help on with this is off fractions of seconds, something is wrong.

Hi LucidCity,
BSP sync is known to work properly.
Ableton Live is known to not work properly when slaved. If BSP is off by microseconds even when slave, try adjusting your audio latency in Ableton Live.
FW v1.4 will not work better regarding sync and it is not advised to switch between firmwares post and pre 2.0.0.2. This will corrupt your sequences and may lead to device crash.

Y.

Like I said, doesn't matter if it's in ableton or not, when I send clock out of bsp to pams new clock in it happens. Why aren't past firmwares readily available? Like, why not?  That's insane.

For your problem: have you tried adjusting your audio latency settings? MIDI latency seems linked to audio latency in Ableton Live. I am pretty sure it will solve your issue if your soundcard and your computer allow lower latency settings.

I answered saying it is a bad idea to downgrade firmware.
Moreover, yes they could have been available somewhere. I have no answer to the question "why not?".

I can send you a previous firmware if you promise not complaining about device crash issues.
