All of them but which one first ?
« on: April 01, 2005, 02:22:07 pm »
Hello mates,

Well, I've been fooling around with each Arturia synth emulation demo for a while now and sure I will buy them all but don't know which one to choose first
What would you do if you were me ?

Didz, proud Storm user    (yeap, Storm is no toy as all every computer aided music maker seems to think !!!)

You may say I'm unobjective as I love it but I will tell you anyway

                         CS-80V
                                            8)  8)  8)

Because it's not so difficult as Mg Modular V but it has a waay larger palette than MiniMg V ......and it sounds gorgeous!!!

My buy chartlist would be like this:

1. CS-80V

2. ARP 2600V

3. Mg ModularV

4. MiniMgV
Max

a CS-80Vist

hehe, I won't take it as a subjective choice as it is my favourite one too just now  8) Well, to be honest, I'm a bit afraid of the Mg modular and ARP 2600 softsynths cause I'm no synthesis expert yet (hope will be one day   )
And as for the miniMg, it seems to be the least "aggressive" to my CPU resources. Then it gives the following list :
1 - CS80V
2 - MiniMgV
3 - MMV
4 - Arp 2600V

hm, about the announced newcoming Arturia product, wouldn't it be an April 1st fake ???

First Arp2600
Lot of good analog sounds if you like 70's electronic sounds :)
I'm more Arp than Mg.

Cs80 is good but CPU hungry lol
be creative
