How fast can I modulate?
« on: January 03, 2018, 03:59:56 pm »
Is there a limit, to how fast I can modulate stuff?

For example, lets say I convert audio signal into Eurorack voltages, can I create FM modulation by routing it on the oscillators pitch?

I donīt have the technical means to do so right now, but I would be quite happy, if it was possible!

This shall be my last question (for today...)

Thanks!

Is this not interesting to more of you folks out there?

Or is the answer simply unknown?

(also ref. this thread)

The CV inputs and outputs are direct analogue connections, straight into the synth voice, so the CV inputs take full audio rate modulation.

Edit: The LFO 1 AMT CV input may be bandwidth limited since it controls the amplitude of an LFO which is implemented digitally - perhaps Arturia can clarify that little detail?
