Changing patches in Logic Pro X—bank changes?

As it appears that the MCC cannot be used to change patches—crazy really—I thought I'd try using the Logic Pro MIDI patch change feature.

I can select patches in bank zero, but cannot seem to access any apart from bank A.

Anyone any ideas?
