Macro MIDI Learn doesn't work here

Hi, I can't seem to be able to assign the Macro knobs to anything. When I click Learn and I move a knob on my controller nothing happens. MIDI learn works fine on single parameters in the main MIDI assignment window. Any tips?

This on Easel standalone version, latest update, Mac OS X Mojave.

There should'nt be an issue, if you use a valid midi CC and do the things you mention correct. Actually the default MIDI config has added MIDI CC to Macros.
More details are needed. Like telling step by step excactly what you are doing and include which midi CC you use and if the hardware control and the MIDI config midi CC are in the same Absolute or Relative mode. Some midi CC's are reserved and can't be assigned freely.
I assume you mean assigning a midi CC to control a Macro. Perhaps you mean something else.
