Envelops faders fragile?
« on: November 08, 2017, 02:14:02 am »
I just received the beast today and I’m speechless regarding the beautiful design, finition and dirty sound of that monster

My only fear are the envelope faders... they seems to be quite fragile, aren’t they? I mean it seems to be not very strong and when you touch the knob, you feel as it will stay in your hands.

So my question is: is it normal or maybe I had issue on shipment/transport?

Thank you

There is some side to side movement, which is perfectly normal for sliders. On some equipment sliders have additional side supports making them feel more solid.

The knobs on mine aren't perfectly aligned either. They look better on the MxBs that my mates bought, but that was half a year after I bought mine - could be that tolerances and QC have improved compared to the early units.

I don't think it's anything to worry about :)
