Cubase - how to stop arpeggiator on playback?
« on: July 30, 2017, 04:19:37 pm »
hi all, does anyone know how to stop the arp automatically playing on playback?

I record an arp in Cubase, then stop recording, but when I play it back it automatically triggers my keystep & I have to press stop on the keyboard.

also this happens when I try to record non-arpeggiated instruments, always when I start "recording" in cubase the arp is triggered.

how to stop that?

thanks

All DAW's that send a Stop/Start via midi will do this with any device with on onboard sequencer that accepts Stop / Start via midi. You either have your DAW doing stop start / arpeggiators etc or you have the Keystep do it, you cannot blend them. When I hit stop start in ableton my mother 32, drumbrute and keystep all start if I want to sync them to Ableton. This issue is not unique to the keystep or Cubase.
