Drumbrute and Ableton
« on: June 17, 2017, 01:06:59 pm »
Hello,
I am planning to buy a drumbrute, I am using Ableton and I already have a minibrute.
if i record my drum sequence, it will be recorded as audio right? not midi.
If this is the case, can I use the 12 "Individual outs" to send each to a separate track in Ableton?

Recording a drum sequence for an entire song as audio without being able to tune and edit is not much handy.
any info on this would be appreciate it to decide whether to buy one or not, not much videos and articles on this topic on the net.

Thank you,
Sam

I got my drumbrute :) couldn't wait.
The guys at the store told me that I can use a mixer with usb support to direct each channel, for the daw to read each in a separate track.
Any one tried this before?

I also have a minibrute that I would like to connect to my audio interface and many usb controllers.
so a mixer with usb input would be ideal.

any info could help.

thanks,
Sam
