Where/how are "favourite" presets stored?
« on: May 19, 2017, 11:43:42 pm »
I'm trying to keep the presets I've favourited in my V Collection synths synced between 2 computers - whereabouts is "favourite" preset information stored? I'm on Mac (Sierra 10.12.5)

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

This question has been answered before in the forums.
But in short - The favorite mark/ attribute is stored within the preset. It's the same preset as before and are not moved or copied to a speciel place. You only have the preset once unless you use "Save As" and for example store the new preset in a bank named "Favorites".

Thanks very much - so what folders (on Mac) need to be synced to make sure that any preset organisation I'm doing is properly synced between my 2 computers?

So your question is where all your presets is stored? Again i believe the answer is in the forums somewhere.
I'm on windows. But if i remember correct the path on Mac is somthing like this: \library\arturia\presets\.
If you copy the presets to the same location on another computer it should work.
