Minor issue
« on: May 07, 2017, 12:46:35 am »
I'm fairly experienced with subtractive synths and am just getting used to how fm synthesis works, and I'm running into an issue with what I'm calling "mystery panning".

I've created my own patch in this synth from the ground up. It's a pad type sound with 4 partials. I haven't touched panning whatsoever on any of the partials (everything is panned center) but I'm finding that my patch outputs a few db louder on the right channel at all times. Obviously a specific answer would require someone to look my patch over, but does anyone have any ideas why something like this would happen? I've isolated individual partials and some of them do it when Solo'd.

Do you use Synclaviers Ping Pong delay or Reverb? Other Synclavier FXs? FXs outside Synclavier?
