Adjust pitch wheel sensitivity
« on: April 26, 2017, 06:33:34 pm »
Hello you all

This is my first experience with Keylab/Arturia. Please bear with me.

I'd like to adjust the pitch bend wheel to be less sensitive, that is to say, to shift the pitch by a smaller percentage/number when I move it. It is too sensitive for my use.

I tried doing it manually (learning how the EDIT button works) but I'm only able to change it's channel, otherwise I just get:

Code: [Select]
PicWheel (Off) / Mode:Off-Disabled
I couldn't change it's settings with the MIDI Control Center either. It's not an option.

I guess what I'm looking for is to change its max and min values, right?

Please help me!

Hello, I investigated further into this, but still no joy.

I can manage to change the ModWheel(Contrl) Min and Max values and that is great.

But I can't find the way to modify the PicWheel settings. I can't change it from ( Off  ), so I also can't set the Min and Max values.

PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

Normally the range of the pitch wheel is set in your sound module or DAW.  The midi controller will always send the same data, this is then translated into the pitch range by the receiving device.

Hope this helps.

If you want to to this on Hardware level, probably "Calibration" mode.
