Octave button and gate led flashing
« on: April 08, 2017, 08:03:27 pm »
Hi,

Im new to these forums. I wanted to ask a question about my microbrute that did something weird. I was playing a patch with a lot of filter and brute factor, playing around with the cutoff knob. All of a sudden the octave button starts flashing. The keyboard does not reapond. I hear a note being played as though through the sequencer but it was off. I turned the sequencer on and off. No response. I tried to change the octave. The octave buttons did not respond. I freaked out and shut the microbrute off. I checked the power supply cause i was scared i had fried it. Nothing wrong with that. There was a gate in jack plugged in that came from my keystep which was not on. I took it off. I turned the microbrute back on. It was still doing it. I waited two minutes and turned it back on again. It stopped and as far as i can tell, everything works fine now. But does anybody know what happened there?!

Thanks!
Renaud
