Keylab 25 snapshot preset saving. Problem solved.
« on: March 16, 2017, 12:36:10 pm »
In Keylab series there are ten switches/snapshot buttons, thats supposed quick save analog lab preset to corresponding switch that is held down for few seconds and when clicked once (as referring to manual), lets say switch number 2, its supposed to quick load that analog lab preset that i previously quick saved to it.

This snapshot saving doesnt and has never worked on my keylab 25

Do i miss something? or do this completely wrong?

Second way to do this (referring to manual again), is to open snapshot tab in analog lab on the left side of virtual keyboard, but fascinately that tab doesnt even exist.

So is the snapshot tab missing, a common problem or has it been removed in update for some really really weard excuse?

I really need to get those snapshot buttons to work, it was one of the main reasons i bought this keylab.

- PROBLEM SOLVED PARTLY -

Snapshot feature and its tab was removed from analog lab 2, but you can assign switches to do same thing through midi center or through midikeyboard.

If you want switch just to open a specific bank:

Change, Mode to control

CC Number to 0 - bank select MSB
Selected min value opens bank

0  = Playlist n°1
1 = Playlist n°2
2 = Playlist n°3
etc...

And to make switch to open specific preset:

Change mode to program change

Bank MSB value chooses playlist:
0  = Playlist n°1
1 = Playlist n°2
2 = Playlist n°3
etc...

Program number chooses preset number:
1  = Preset n°1
2 = Preset n°2
3 = Presett n°3
etc...

Everything works fine, execept every time preset or bank is loaded, somehow it changes keyboard memory back to its original state that analog lab forces to load once started.

Just need to figure out, how to stop that, becouse this preset load and then again recalling own keyboard config makes no sense.

HI
You are the only one who has solved it.. but, can you please give me a little more help:

You say:

"And to make switch to open specific preset:

Change mode to program change....
When I change Mode, I only see:

Kbd Preset
Patch Change
Off Disable
MMC
Ctrl Toggle
COntrol
Note Toggle
Midi Note
Duration Ctl

What do you mean by "Change mode to program change"?

Please explain...

thanks!!
