Beatstep pro MIDI issue (newbie)
« on: February 04, 2017, 06:42:19 pm »
Hello,

I got my Beatstep pro few weeks ago, i use it with ableton live only by USB.
I found an old Boss Dr 670 at my place and i wanted to use it with my BSP.
So i bought 2 midi cables but i can't understand how it works  :'( .
I am really new with these computerless configuration and i would like to use the DR670 sounds and controll it with the BSP if it is possible, if it is not possible i would love to know if i can use the dr 670 somehow ?
Thanks for your answers,

Axel

Ps: i also have a focusrite scarlette 2i4, there are some Midi in/Out it might help, i don't know  ;D

I don't have the Boss unit, but I see it has MIDI IN and OUT, so just connect OUT from BSP to IN of the Boss, ensure the Boss is listening on the same MIDI channel as the BSP is transmitting for your DRUM track, and you should be OK.
