Spark2 - How to use as sound module in Logic X
« on: February 09, 2017, 08:13:58 am »
I am trying to use Spark 2 as just a sound module in a plug in strip in Logic Pro X.  I have newest versions of everything.  I have all my drum parts programmed and sequenced in tracks and thought I'd try some of the Spark 2 sounds but I can't figure out how to turn Spark 2 into just a sound module.  I don't need all the built in sequencer and drum machine bits and pieces just trigger the sounds from my sequence track.  I'm sure I used to do this when I had Spark VDM.  Please help. Thanks.

Well I found that by turning off Host (which it was I thought you did) it becomes a sound module.  Alas the drums are not setup as General Midi.  Which I'm sure can be changed but what a pain in the ass to either change it in Spark or transpose all my sequences. >:(
