AnalogLab VST in Ableton
« on: January 22, 2017, 03:54:11 pm »
Hi,
I recently bought a Minilab controller. It works fine outside of Ableton.
In ableton, it works fine with Ableton's built-in plugins, everything is mapped correctly by default, but as soon as I open the VST, everything starts to behave strangely.
My knobs don't turn the values up and down smoothly but from 1 to 1000 at once for example (as if my knobs were acting as switches or something...).
Same goes for the built-in plugins, all good at first but acting strange when AnalogLab is opened once.
Anyone experienced that ? I'm pretty sure there could be a quick fix for this.
Thanks

Read up on the manual about absolute vs relative knob mode.  If your minilab is still in it's default state, hold down shift and press drum pad 2. That should make it work right in Live.

When switching modes, only the first 8 knobs work properly in AnalogLab, but now say I click on the autofilter's frequency knob of any other track, it behaves strange again.
