Minilab Windows 10 MCC Error yet 64bit Ableton Works
« on: December 05, 2016, 02:51:01 am »
So I just picked up the Minilab Black Edition to be used with Ableton 9.7 and Windows 10. I have never had issues setting up USB Midi devices with Windows until I picked up the Minilab. It will not connect to MCC or the standalone Analog app. My computer recognizes the device as an Audio, Software and USB Composite Device but will not communicate with Windows apps correctly. I was only able to get the controller working on Windows with the 64bit version of Ableton 9.7. The 32bit version of Ableton will show the Midi device as Orange and useless. Even after successfully transfer midi signals in 64 bit Ableton, the Analog App Vst will not work with the Minilab knobs correctly using the different presets. When I plugged the Minilab into  a Mac I had no problems using it in Ableton first try.

Are there any suggestions on getting Midi Control Center to recognize the Minilab in my Windows setup?

Best,
Leonard
