sequencing and transposing root note - select root note as pivot
« on: November 26, 2016, 06:49:16 pm »
1. I transposed an empty sequence with [sequencer1] + [E keypad]
2. I recorded with pads a sequence on the key of E
3. I selected major scale with [shift] + [D# keypad]
And it was a pleasure to discover that turning the knobs the notes where in the major scale of E [and not C, which would have made the scales function useless]

Is there a way to specify the key of my pattern after i record it?
(somehow inverting steps 1. and 2. and obtain the same result)

from the manual 4.3.6
....
Note: Neither SEQ1 nor SEQ2 will respond to transpose commands from the pads or
external MIDI when they are in Record mode.
....

cool, change the pivot root note when in record mode :D
