switches not lighting properly
« on: October 26, 2016, 08:34:24 pm »
When using the switches (buttons) in toggle mode, it should light up and stay on when first pressed and released... and go off on second press and so on.  As it stands now, even in toggle mode the button lights up as you are pressing it and goes out on release, which would be appropriate for momentary mode, but useless for toggle mode.  For me it is quite helpful to have the visual feedback as to if these parameters that are being controlled are on or off.

Hey Mate,
Having same "issue", well it is not issue, it is how it is in firmware.

Currently I'm trying to find workaround, I fight with pads to to substitute function but no success in ableton.
How ever I found that you can light up button via sysex messages
Firs button LED (Program change button)
F0 00 20 6B 7F 42 02 00 10 12 7F F7

Just 8 of them (from 1-8) button 9 and 10 (lsb and msb) are somehow "special", and I did not find proper message to light them up.
I would really request Firmware upgrade (I have 1.33), it will help me a lot in live performances.
I'll post video soon.
