Controller data too much for my software to handle!
« on: October 19, 2016, 10:18:50 pm »
I've been noticing that the Keylab88 puts out so much higher grain of CC data than my other controllers, that sometimes it bogs down Hosts like MainStage and Digital Performer. I've seen the expression pedal object in MS grind to a halt, and DP8 is having some difficulty writing all the pitch wheel data correctly. Obviously, this is NOT Arturia's fault, these programs really shouldn't have any difficulty parsing 1-2kbps... but it is what it is. I suspect that most programs are still built on the speed limits imposed by traditional MIDI, and not USB data rates, which the Keylab takes advantages of. I sorta wish the Keylab had a built in "grain size" setting, so I could weed out some data.

Anyone else notice this?
