Keystep Clock Sync w/ Roland SH-101? Is it even possible?
« on: October 01, 2016, 08:55:38 pm »
Hi everyone, I recently purchased an Arturia Keystep and want to sync my SH-101 via clock out into the external clock in of my SH-101, and so far none of the clock types in the MIDI interface software are working. Strangely enough I can't even sync the Arturia Keystep sequencer to my soft-synths in Ableton via USB MIDI, yet CLOCK on ableton is enabled and I can trigger the VST synths using the keys of the Keystep

So far, all I've been able to do with the Keystep is use it as a MIDI controller. Any tips on why this is?

Thanks again and best,

You need to specify "1step (Gate/Clock)" in the Sync Clock Sequence Settings.
