Moog ring mod and minibrute
« on: September 15, 2016, 04:06:36 pm »
Hi,

I want to use a moog ring mod as a second oscillator for the minibrute.

Tried It but the moog does not track 1v/oct, and i saw in an old topic That i Would need an attenuator. I built one (two jacks and a A100k pot) but i cant find the sweet spot.

Any help?

Thanks

Ok It works.

If anybody wants to try It Here is the chain:

Pitch out CV from MB to atenuator (2 jacks and one 100k pot) to frequency of the ring mod, lfo out to audio in, audio out to MB audio in.

Needs a lot of tweaking to finaly make It track spot on but Its a lot of fun.

Do you notice any crosstalk?   I've been playing with feeding my brute with other sources.. and if I send it a hot enough signal to actually work - I can hear it faintly when I'm not playing.
