Hi there,

Iīm a little bit disappointed, since I recently bought the new V-Collection 5 and played around with the new Analog Lab 2 (Mac OSX)
In the current version, the software canīt be controlled in a real useful way from within my Hardware Controller (Keylab 61) .

For example , if I try to browse through the preset list, the "selector" scrolls just in one direction.
Also switching the knob to relative mode ,and reassigning the midi didnīt help in this case.

With Analog Lab 1 everything was fine.

So, maybe my configuration is a kind of corrupt or the software is still buggy.
Does anybody have a solution to fix this issue ?

Thanks
Best regards

Roland

Hi Spooky,
and welcome on this board.
i just tried Analog LAB 2 2.0.2.98 on a osx 10.10.5 with a keylab 61 ( firmware 1.32)
everything was ok . I'd like to know if :
-your keylab 61 is ticked in audio/midi settings panel ?
- your keylab 61 is selected in the analog lab 2 bottom toolbar ? (at the bottom right of the screen, there is a midi controller section, opening it will let you select your keylab model or a default controller)

hope it helps,

Best,

spooky

Hi Germain,
thanks a lot for your quick reaction !

Yes, I already selected the Keylab61 in the bottom toolbar.

But what do you mean exactly with "picked" in audio/midi settings panel ?
The Keylab61 at least is listed there and seems to work partially. This is just an assumption , because the other controllers do their job. If I turn the Preset Selection Knob , I get the same Midi Event for both directions with changes ,which are depending on the Setting absolute or relative .

Cheers
Roland

Re, i was refering to this section :

you can access to this section by clicking on the analog lab logo, on the upper left of the screen, and then in the dropdown select "audio settings".
on the screenshot i had a keylab 25 plugged.

You shouldn't have to do some midi learning on the PARAM/CATEGORY and PRESET/VALUE knobs, to make it work it analog lab 2, they are default mapped. PARAM/CATEGORY will move the cursor inside the left section of the preset browser, and PRESET/VALUE will move the cursor inside the result list. pressing these knobs will allow you to apply some filters in your search and load a preset.
Maybe the settings for these 2 buttons have somehow changed...
here is what i have for these 2 parts :

CategENC (relctl) : MODE Relativectl / midi ch 01 / num: 112 / min LSB : 0 / MAX MSB : 127
PresetENC (relctl) : MODE Relativectl / Midi Ch 01 /num : 114 / min LSB : 0 / MAX MSB : 127
PrsetBtn(Contrl) : MODE Control /Midi Ch 01 / num :115 / min LSB : 0 / MAX MSB : 127
CategBtn(Contrl) : MODE control / Midi ch 01 / num :113 / Min LSB : 0 / MAX MSB : 127

Best,

Hi Germain,
all these settings have been ok on my Mac.

But finally it seems that I found a solution that does the trick...

I deleted the following folder:
/Library/Arturia/Analog Lab 2/tmp/

Then restarted the Analog Lab 2 and everything works like a charm :-)

Thanks a lot for your quick help !!!

Cheers
