« on: June 22, 2016, 12:11:54 pm »
hi, i juste bought a BSP (midi output on volca beat / TR505 / ms20 mini + midi slaved by rc505). 2 questions :

A / how & where to buy another mini jack / din (GREY) connector ? (i split my midi output in two and then i need another grey adapt. for the midi in). and how not to mistake with the clock BLACK one ?

B / how to erase one kind of sound in the drum seq. i know how to MUTE one (or several) of a kind but is it possible to ERASE all the, let's say pad 11, on the 64 step pattern ?

merci bien...

A while ago I wanted a few extra midi plugs to use with a belkin style splitter and a bunch of volca type synths.
I headed on down to my local electronics parts store and picked up a couple of these and made my own cables:
http://www.altronics.com.au/p/p1150-5-pin-line-din-plug/
http://www.altronics.com.au/p/p0025-3.5mm-stereo-metal-jack-plug/
http://www.altronics.com.au/p/w3033-shielded-twin-pair-audio-data/
If you know someone with a soldering iron and can find a local supplier with these parts it should be pretty easy to make one...
Either figure out the din sync pinout from your existing cable with a multimeter,
or google it:

... or for that matter you could probably buy them ready made on ebay for even less
http://www.ebay.com/itm/0-5m-5-Pin-Din-MIDI-Plug-To-3-5mm-Jack-Stereo-Plug-Audio-Cable-50cm-007231-/380992291304?hash=item58b4e901e8:g:opUAAOSwm8VUvA25

... then you'd only need parts/solder if the pinout doesn't match the arturia one

Maybe this:

yes the audio splitter trick : that's why i need a third midi adapt, because i use a splitter and then feed 2 midi in. and still need midi out...
