I've been demoing this and I -want- to be gobsmacked, but so far, I'm just not there. What am I missing?
I get the programming -potential-, but the included sounds just remind me of a lot of FM8 or other VSTis... and in many cases, not nearly as deeply programmed. I don't mean to sound like a killjoy but the sounds aren't as 'epic' as I had hoped.
FWIW: I go -way- back with synths. I had an ARP 2600. And the factory patch book on -that- was pretty childish. You had to -work- to get something cool. I have no problem really digging in and learning how to program this thing---once I'm convinced it's worth the effort.
So... give me some examples of some patches that are REALLY epic. I want to hear what this thing can -really- do!
