CS-80V Presets
« on: December 11, 2016, 01:55:54 am »
I am trying to load CS-80V V3 Presets.  The plugin is expecting a .csx file but I only have a .ays file.  Did the extensions change between V2 and V3?

Yes. You can find posts about this in the forums. For example here:

Will the needed converter work if I just bought CS-80V plugin by itself and not the V5 Collection?  I downloaded the converter but it seems to only scan a preset location (presumably where the V5 Collection puts the presets).

You need to have the VC4 version of CS80 (CS80 V2) to be able to use the converter. It's explained in the posts i have linked for and if you see the lnks in that thred too.
If you don't have the previous version of CS80, then you can't convert older presets, as they have to be importedin an applications to be converted.
So if you buy presets, then be sure it's for your version.

EDIT: You can allways try and ask Arturia if they can help you to convert presets of your own. Can't  tell if they do.
