(SOLVED) Not sending gate off when playing chromatic pads
« on: February 10, 2016, 11:24:13 am »
I've noticed that when playing the chromatic pads, the BSP is not sending gate off and remains on. Hence, the note sustains.

Any idea on how this can be fixed?

What are you triggering with your BSP?

I've noticed some of the instruments from the Arturia V Collection do this, but I haven't had this problem with other synths or external gear.

This started happening to me last night as well - but only on sequencer 2. After I power the unit on, pressing any chromatic pad on sequencer two will result in the gate being stuck high or on. It's not related to S-trig vs. V-trig, because S-trig results in the same behavior, the gate is permanently set to low/off. Has anyone found a solution?

I'm triggering eurorack modular modules, envelopes in particular ... seems to only happen to sequencer 2.

I have the same issue: Gate on Sequencer 2 is stuck on high after pressing the pads.
I tried to power the BSP both from PC / adapter, thought it might be related, but the issue persist.
Note that after hitting the stop button it gate goes back to low / off, even if the device was stopped all of the time. In addition, Sequencer 1 works fine.

- Is it a know issue with the BSP?
- Otherwise, is my device faulty?
- I'm not sure what firmware I have. Do you think that software update will solve it?

Thanks!
Tom

Hello.

Update your firmware should fix this issue.

You can do it from the Midi Control Center.

If the issue persists, simply hard reset your unit and try again, and it should work.
