Has the broken keys manufacture defect been fixed yet?
« on: November 28, 2015, 03:01:38 am »
I'm thinking about ordering a new Keylab but only if I can hear from an employee that this manufacture defect has been resolved.

I believe it has, yes.

Highlighted on the MB but assume all keys were sourced from the same place and used on all keyboards. Mr F B has said that he would replace any keyboard that is still out there if faulty.

Thanks, Stuart

I know this is an old thread but I have a Keylab61 that I recently registered that has developed the mentioned problem with a broken low B. Who do I contact regarding getting a replacement keybed?

In the first instance I would contact your supplier, who you bought the unit from. They should know what the procedure is and will know about the situation. If you draw a blank there email Arturia

Hope that help, Stuart

Its not fixed. I just got a keylab 49 delivered, and almost 10-12 keys have problems straight out of the box. They simply do not play.
And for some key, after pressing you have to wait for good 5-10 secs before the midi reaches the machine.

Totally disappointed. I thought I am upgrading from Axiom 49 to Arturia. This keyboard feels way cheaper and the experience is so bad. More I play it, more problems I am finding and More I hate it.
Keys are nothing compared to my Axiom, which I sold unfortunately. :(

Now to top it up, I am following up with my retailer to refund my money, making videos of the defects to convince them. I was expecting a very prompt response that this will be replaced or money refunded immediately.

I am no way interested in Arturia Stuff. This is way way way cheap. Over pricey and Yes, I forgot to mention that the Softwares you get with it are also a piece of Junk. Sounds are no where near to that of other great analog vst synths.

Do not buy it. Dont Consider it.

That's the problem with purchasing something over the internet, you can't try it before you buy it. Why do that especially if you liked your old unit?

You may of just got an old stock unit, I'm sure there are still a few lying around.
Arturia haven't recalled them, they have asked retailers to send them back if they receive a faulty one.

Thanks, Stuart
