Power Supply and MIDI Channel
« on: August 17, 2015, 11:28:54 pm »
Hi folks,

I urgently need your help. I just bought a second hand Arturia Keyboard. Precicely: Analog Experience The Laboratory 61

So I am a complete newbe here!

I have two questions:

1. I downloaded the manual (Analog_Laboratory_Manual_EN) and there it is stated on page 76, that the needed power supply (non USB) is 12V DC, center = +. On the back of the keyboard is stated 6V DC, center = +. What is correct?

2. I am using this keyboard without any computer software just as my light weighted keyboard in addition to my Nord Stage 2 EX. So I simply connected the Arturia's MIDI out to the Nord's MIDI in. In principle it works fine, but I want to quickly change the MIDI out channel of the keyboard, the aftertouch, the pitch bend and the modulation between channel 1 and 16 simply by pressing one button (e.g. snapshot). So far I only found a way to change the global MIDI channel and store/recall this to different keyboard sedttings. If this should be the quickest way to change the MIDI channel I really would be disappointed.

Your kind help is really appreciated!!!

Thanks a lot in advance

Eumel
